For post surgery maintenance.

Suiticals provide a great alternative to e-collars after your pet has surgery in our office. These provide a barrier so they cannot get to their incision site after procedures like spay, neuter, exploratory, or lump removal. They are less bulky, and patients tend to be less stressed with these on rather than the typical Elizabethan collars we send home after surgery.

Of course, after any surgical event, it is most important that your pet doesn’t lick or bug at the incision site as this can cause infection, irritation, or the incision to open up, requiring additional surgical repair.

These are not products we have in our office, so do you research, order ahead, and bring them along with your pet in the morning of surgery so we can apply to the patient after surgery is performed. We recommend ordering a couple so you can always have a clean one on hand during the recovery period.
