University Drive Veterinary Hospital (UDVH) is a locally owned and operated animal hospital in State College, Pennsylvania. We have been serving the pet community of Happy Valley and surrounding areas for over 40 years.

It is our goal to provide guidance and support for you and your furry family members throughout every stage of their lives. Our team of dedicated professionals are passionate about animals and strive to provide the highest quality of care we would expect for our own pets.

The staff at UDVH understands that your pet's health is as important to you as your own. We offer Fear Free preventative and diagnostic medicine with a personalized touch. After hours emergency service is provided by our member hospital: Central Pennsylvania Veterinary Emergency Treatment Service (CPVETS).

Drs. Lincoski and Miller keep up to date on the latest and safest vaccine, anesthesia, and medication protocols. Our skilled veterinary technicians always greet you with a smile and are available to help answer questions and keep your experience positive.

  • Susan E. Lincoski, VMD

    Dr. Lincoski was a technician at UDVH in the early nineties while earning a Bachelor’s degree in History from Penn State. After graduation she headed off to veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania where she received her doctorate in 1998.

    Sue has practiced in Horsham, Danville, Philadelphia, and Florida while traveling with her husband who served in the United States Air Force before she returned to State College. Dr. Lincoski lives nearby with her husband: Chris and daughter: Paige. In her spare time she enjoys lunch with friends, reading, traveling, mountain biking, and downhill skiing.

  • Jamie Miller, DVM

    Dr. Miller grew up in the Hershey area, receiving her bachelor’s in Animal Bioscience from Penn State. She then graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St Kitts, finishing with her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. The mountains and trees of the East were calling, so she came back to PA and joined Shippensburg Animal Hospital in 2013. Since she will forever bleed Blue & White, it was only natural for her to move back to the area.  Her medical interests include all things internal medicine, preventative care, chinese herbal medicine (TCVM), and will be starting the process of becoming Acupuncture Certified in 2021.  When she's not working, you can find Dr. Miller camping, hiking, or exploring National Parks.  Her island dog, Tai and her Labrador Retriever, Ivan are never too far behind!

  • Chelsea Jones, CVT

    Chelsea has been a crucial part of the University Drive team since 2006. That year she graduated from Wilson College with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Medical Technology.

    Chelsea resides in Morrisdale with her husband, two dogs: Emery and Halo, a cat: Avalon, and horses: Cash and Dillon. In her spare time she enjoys walking the dogs, riding her horses, and campfires.

  • Kelly Lallement, CVT

    Kelly joined the UDVH team as a part-time veterinary assistant in September 2014 and is now a full-time Certified Veterinary Technician. You also may have seen her driving the Royal Pet Resort bus. A 2014 graduate of PSU (animal sciences), and a 2020 graduate with a Master's in Animal Medicine and Associate's Veterinary Technology degree from Purdue University. As a State College native, Kelly enjoys PSU football, knitting, and playing with her cats Raj and Pepe.

  • Cyanna Darbeau

    Cyanna joined the UDVH team in 2020! She has two years previous of technician experience in mixed animal practice. She originally is from Louisiana, where she graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She is planning to attend vet school is 2021 focusing in small animal practice. She has an adorable shih-tzu/poodle mix named Henry.

  • Rachel Boyd

    Rachel has been an amazing addition to our Reception crew here at UDVH since 2020! She previously has worked in horse management and training, in education and other client services roles. Rachel graduated from Wheaton College in Illinois with a degree in education. Outside of work, you can see her exploring the outdoors with her husband Josh and her Bernese Mountain dog Gunner, especially in National Parks! She also loves creating from building furniture, making handmade signs, to knitting and crafting. Rachel aspires to make the best homemade frozen custard and is currently perfecting the recipe!

  • Mady Sechler

    Mady joined our reception team in 2020. She has worked many jobs since high school including starting her own side business for dog walking and cleaning! In the future, she aims to go to school to become a Vet Tech, as her love for animals is growing - especially after meeting all of our amazing patients. In her free time, you may find her hiking, camping, practicing yoga or crossfit, shopping, and hanging out with her family and friends.

  • Brooke Bender, CVT

    Brooke joined our Veterinary Technician team in 2021. She graduated from the Vet Tech Institute in Pittsburg in 2019. She has been working in small animal medicine for the last 2 years. When not at the office, you may see her reading, crocheting, camping, and spending time with her family. She has many pets including cats named Mustard, Hazelnut, Titan, Diesal, SJ, Nim, Scar and her Beagle mix named Daisy.
